Osterga4 - Please share your address if your are so proud of your parenting skillls, you and your parents belong in Prison. You people who use the Bible to espew your child abuse are the biggest sinners of all. I believe that this kid needs a good whipping - but whelts? It is too bad that you are so stupid that you only learned from welts and a raw butt. Low IQ's are what repeats this behavior through the generations. The Bible does not state that the rear end is for welts and paddlings, these are just your idiotic assessments. Are you in a religious cult by chance? Do share your location and see what happens. Retards!

monitor what your child is watching on t v, this is a learned behavior. over twenty yrs. ago one of my friends grandson did the same identical thing, he hit a neighbors parked car and luckily no one was in the car. less than a yr later he sneaked out again, he and some friends were playing on the railroad tracks, they tied his shoe strings and dared him to untie them before the train came...the train came first. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE DOING!

Wake up nature takes its course, why blame parents ?think bacK WHEN YOU WERE A KID if you can, what did you do ever ,that you knew your mom and dad done and you weren't suppose to do ?Thank God no one was hurt. Hug your kid and explain what coukd have happened show him pictures taks him to a hospital where accident injury patients are, the dramatically one legged little girl or the young boy with only three fingers

all kids are curious about driving. The fact is the kid made a mistake, and is apparently very good at sneaking for an 8 year old. an 8 year old child will not fully comprehend that they could severely injure someone else or themselves, but to those of you saying he was going to kill someone, he was the most at risk. He could not have made it a block and not gotten hurt when he bumped the other car if no one was injured and he was crying because he knew he did something wrong, he got caught, and he was scared. Who's at fault? Who the **** knows, the fact is that as any child, they learned by doing this one just happened to be more extreme than sticking marbles up their nose or eating soap.

its not the parents fault. its just the sign of a bad kid off to a bad start in life, and will have many more bad incidents, unless someone puts a stop to it now

What kind of parent would go to sleep without checking to see what their child is doing. Is he sleeping, or sneaking? Paddle his butt until it's raw, and to hell with the abuse laws in this country. Make him go out and cut his own switch, bring it in for the whipping. That's what the butt is for according to the Bible. Use it you stupid parents that lay in bed watching tv while your kid sneaks out and trys to kill innocent drivers.

It's not a sign of bad parenting, the little boys went out of the house in the middle of the night. He knew he was not suppose to do that. He should be punished for that. He should have spend the night in jail alone, maybe he will not do something like this again.

This is the parents fault for not instilling better values into an 8 year old brat. He must have severe mental disorders to do something like that. It must be the parent/parents that have to pay the price for almost killing innocent people. No type of insurance would cover this type of behavior so they had better get him into a juvenile vacility before it's too late for this juvie, and get second jobs to pay for the damages. If that were my kid he'd be laid across a bed, and strapped until his butt was full of welts. This was the treatment that I got as a child, and I learned from it. The bible says that's what the butt is for.
This crap of abuse when your child is out of control is hogwash. He needs to spend some time in a center with real discipline, rather than a parent getting him off for being a bad boy. Disappline is sorely needed

the kids next door has broken into my house at 3 am before. he is 13. i don't blame his parents. i just shot him with a paint ball gun. in colorado we have a "make my day law" it is great. he doesn't come near my house anymore.
