if anyone thinks that what the cubs did doesnt come close to what the brewers did doesnt know the game and just sees a big name - lets point out that they dont even look at the overall picture and what it has done for the cubs :1) this not only gives them the one two punch to match the 3rd place brewers it gives them2) overall depth in their starting rotation plus3) a reliever that doesnt go to the minors but will help strengthen the pen which has always been and will continue to be better than the brewers.4) where the brewers smart enough when making the deal getting another player to compensate for him in the minors5) they also rented cc and big ben are now on their way out, would be nice if the cubs could get at least one of those next yr.so have another beer and be happy

I totally disagree davinuof. If Harden can stay healthy and make his starts it does. Of course there is the injury concern but that can also be said of Sheets. Plus the cubs aren't just renting a player for the rest of the year. They have him for next year as well where as the brewers gave up a top notch kid in the minors that by all reports has a definite future in the majors. The brewers will be looking at draft picks after this season that will hopefully some day make it to the majors. CC and Ben will be gone.
