Pat Robertson with his militaristic and bigotted statements and his shady money deals, Oral Roberts' son with his misappropriation of parishioners' money, the one that was head of some Christian empire out in CO who says he just got "cured" from being gay (so he's good and ready to start another Christian multimillion-dollar empire I'm sure and will find no shortage of mindless followers)--just about every TV evangelist--all hypocrites of the first order, whose god is money and power and who care nothing about social justice in this world. The list is endless.

I couldn't agree more. Evangelical Christians/Baptists are at the root of almost every social injustice in the world--they supported the Iraq war and thus the murder of innocents; they are against a just resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict due to what they believe is biblical prophecy (this in spite of the fact that they are wholly ignorant about the conflict's history and the occupation is illegal under the 4th Geneva Convention. Several years ago, I read a similar story where the father stabbed his daughter to death as her mother held her down. The girls crime...she went out with a boy. The father and mother were both sentenced to life in prison. The same thing should happen here.

Christians have spread more humanitarian aid on this planet then any organization in the world.
We help more people then any organization in the world.
Who did more to help New Orleans thats right Churches and giving people that belong to them while the goverment sat.
Fact is yes we are intolerant. Your not going to tell us to believe a damn thing. We are going to LOVE JESUS no matter what you put on TV,music and try to force feed us. That does not mean we won't stop giving. A Christian is not a person who judges a person gay or not..... Only GOD can do that. That does not mean we can't judge an act.
I feel sorry for you I really do. Go get educated or better yet talk to a minister maybe he can help you.
