The title of this article is misleading by implying the "Feds" gave as in donated $50B to banks, rather than actually lending them the money.

After Bush and Cheney, marvin and Neil Bush get done with us, I hope we will have enough for a sandwich...but I doubt it.

If you made stupid choices tuff, you will know better in your next life. An honest man cannot be swindled. Most of these people knew going in they were taking a major gamble buying a house on the off chance that 3 or 4 years later they would be able to make the payments. Problem with gambling is you will either win or you will lose generally you will lose. "You pay your nickel you take your chances you ain't got nothing coming Charlie Brown.â€.
The next time you buy a house you will be a lot wiser.

I do not belive the banks and credit vendors should be bailed out for trying to rape the general public if any thing they should go to jail. I am greedy as well when the housing market crashes I can may get a place to live for a resonable price. i do not belive peopple or bussinesses should be rewarded for bsing greedy or stupid.

Gee, it cost more than three times that much to bail the Savings and Loans out after Neil Bush robbed them in the late 80's.
Great record, Hoover caused the great bank crash in 1932, Reagan caused the Savings and Loan fiasco in 1988, and Bushit jr. has to pay banks to stay solvent in 2007... This is all from the Ridiculous party who claims they are more "fiscally" responsible...yeah right...the fourth great lie of neo-cons.

Is a crash ala 1929 inevitable ? 20 bill doesnt seem like a helluva lot when compared to the funds allocated thus far to fight the Iraq "war"?If the Iraq "war" is all about oil , and it is all about oil , what kind of sense does it make really to fight about a finite resource, namely oil, which will be all gone in a few decades anyway ?

WHERE ARE THEY GETTING IT FROM? GIVE IT TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO SAVE THEIR HOMES.
REMEMBER, THE BANKS WERE THE ONES HANDING THE BUCKS OUT LIKE IT WAS CANDY. IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT?
