Report This! 77% of the readers here support the death penalty. That figures, considering the huge proportion of comments that are filled with hateful content. I have only one wish: that every one who responded "yes" to the support question be unfortunate enough to be accused and convicted of a capital crime that he/she did not commit, and that the day before their trial Congress removes the defendants rights for appeal. I suppose things would look different to them then.

And may your family member be brutaly raped and murdered and just befor the trial may the defendant get off on a legal technicality. I supposes that things would look the same to you right???

Ah, self-righteous southerners who love to kill but also claim to love Jesus. Let the South go; secession was a good idea after all.

i like how the criminals use the phrase about cruel and unusual punishment when it comes to them paying for crimes they committed against others in some cases they are getting treated far better than they treated the victims it's just amazing to me that criminals have more rights than the innocent victims they torture mame and murder. and they want to cry foul. i think it should be what ever they did to the victim should be done to them let them feel what the victim felt before leaving this world.
