Just playing devils advocate, but 1) no crime was committed. It doesn't matter that he intended to - thoughts are not a crime or we'd all be in jail for every time we've thought about killing someone. You can't be charged for a crime you have not yet committed. 2) Although completely wrong and disgusting, to all of you who are talking about all the trauma of child abuse - this woudln't have been abuse or rape - it would have been statutory, yes, but permissive sex, with a 14 year old that wanted to - and they are out there everywhere - if it was real, and not the entrapment, the possible 14 year old in question who would be willingly meeting him for sex, if not him, would be sleeping with someone else. Its sad but thats the way teenage girls are these days to a big extent. Wrong of him on all levels, but don't take the guilt out of the flip side, please.

The wardens and the corrections board at a lot of these state departments are scammers and underachievers and yes, slackers who do nothing ever to improve the situation in prisons i.e., turn back the clock to the time when those perverts had to be in with the general population and had to suffer the consequences --after all, that is the price-you-pay.......when you play suckahhhhhhhhh But truth is, the board is usually made up of degreed idiots and other misfits who enjoy their little ''group."

i am an ex convict child mollestors get the easiest senteces least amount of time and do the easiest time and have more rights than anyone in the penal system. i think that if you mess with a child you should be given a death sentence. mess with mine and i will again be a convict, you wont have to go to court i will for killing your sorry ass
