They really need to stop! It's unacceptable! There is already a problem with population control, I'm starting to really think that China's law about a max # of children is an excellent idea. not to mention the fact that we really don't need weidos reproducing more that they already do.

By the way, Doc, this comes from a non-religious, non-conservative, non-Republican from the North.

The worst thing anyone can do for the Earth's environment is to have an American child.

Wow, that's mean spirited. There once was a time when people would have taken out "American" and substituted "Jewish." What if they substituted "black"? You know what type of reaction they would most likely get...and I think I'll give it to you...go f--k yourself.

doctom1977 10:23:14 PM May 10 2008

Dang, I was too impatient there!

Cult or no cult, these people are clearly on the receiving end of our largesse: Between the tax deduction and the tax credit, they likely are paying negative taxes, i.e, being paid by Uncle Sam. As a married (29 years) child-free guy, I'm used to subsidizing most folks' procreative activities, but at this level the resentment goes wild.
I have to guess that they are religious conservative Republicans who believe that their reproductive activities help repel the brown invaders from the South, and God Almighty forbid that their nonexistent tax dollars go to helping any of dem dere Eye-legal immigrants!
The challenge of the day: Can you dispute this...

Cult or no cult, this family is living off of the rest of us. Between the tax deduction and tax credit for each and every dependent, I doubt that these people pay any taxes at all; they probably actually are receiving government money to whelp out kids! I would also hazard a guess that they are religious conservative Republicans who resent others for being on the dole.
I am married for 29 and child-free by choice. I'm accustomed to subsidizing the breeders among us, but this is ridiculous.
I challenge anyone to dispute this assertion: The largest impact anyone can have on the environment is to have an American child.

scoobe2 04:33:48 PM May 10 2008

there is a reason why this is under the category of weird news. this family needs to get the hint

scoobe2 04:32:53 PM May 10 2008

this woman needs to give it up already. how unfair is it to her kids that they have no privacy, have to wearnhand me downs or thrift store clothes and be responsible and help raise the younger children. its no wonder most people from large familes that i have met dont want to have kids. these people cannot say that their children get the attention and education they need. sad. spitting out kids like watermelon seeds. like the planet isnt in enough trouble with global warming due to overpopulation. and with the rising cost of food etc who is paying for all these kikids? the reason they announce this and have opened their home to cameras is to make money and get free stuff

heartcomplete 12:25:35 PM May 10 2008

Stop saying mean things about her having 18 kids! Those of you who say something about them living in a cult, get a life. You have NO RIGHT to judge the family. They're healthy, happy, the kids aren't abused....what's wrong with you people??

fmastoris 11:10:02 AM May 10 2008

Isn't it time that she stops!! I mean really what the heck is she doing and how are they supporting all these kids?? I hope my tax money isn't going to support these people and their overpopulation of this planet.
