Let's see the tree is a pagan symbol and a secular representation of Christmas so why are Christians claiming it as a religion object. Jesus, the man, was not born in December, rather the day chosen has pagan origins. He was most likely born in September according to all the references given to the time of year. Christmas is about being greedy and self-centered and materialistic so how is that a foundation of faith. It's a sham and a joke, but hey enjoy.

You are correct in your assessments but you must assign the blame where it belongs...with the American people. The far right fringe of the GOP is this nutty because their voices were never heard in a Democratic controlled Congress....I call the Bush years, "the revenge of the cowboys, ranchers and fringe element evangelicals". The nuttier and more fringe they get, the more comfortable they feel in their self assigned role as martyr to their vision of an American that never did exist, never could exist and never will exist. These people live in fantasyland for a reason...they feel shut out of real politik.

lying piece of crap. every word, gesture and backdrop was studied endlessly and rehearsed. this country needs a man or woman who has read at least one book other than the fairy tale bible. he should be in mental hospital not whitehouse.
