Well stocks may be rising, but oil prices have been dropping all week and the gas stations have been raising the prices daily despite over $10 a barrel decrease. I think that the oil companies are a bunch of crooks,, just like Five Star Food Service Inc.
Damn the bastards !!!!!!!!!!

The Senate recently (last week) passed a bill to extend unemployment benefits for an additional 13 weeks, by an overwhelming vote. The bill now goes up to the President for his signature. If passed, I do believe though that it is up to each individual state to determine whether or not to honor the extension. I reside in the suburbs of Pennsylvania outside Philly, have worked in the legal field for over 20 years, have been diligently seeking employment, but there are no jobs to be found in the papers, on the internet, and through networking. Gov. Rendell seems to think that all is well here......well, it is not. I urge everyone who is on their last leg of their benefits to email their State representatives and ask that these extensions be fulfilled. You can also call your local office for more information -- or go there personally to apply for an extension -- and appeal it, if it is denied. Our voices must be heard -- these are difficult times.

What a joke. It doesn't take into consideration all the people who fell off the list cause the unemployment ran out.
