I had them both, first XM for 4 years, then my son gave me a Sirius for Christmas. At first, I liked the Sirius, but have to admit I really miss the PHlash! and Motor Mouth!

I have had XM for 6 years now and I love it! It did loose a lot of sports to Sirius but I am sure we will get them back now. The price is great and there are not a lot of commercials at all unless they are advertising for an upcoming show. I love that you can listen to it no matter where you are in the USA since we travel a lot, and there is good variety.

I've had Sirius for 2 year and they have "no" commercials on their music channels, only the talk radio channels have commericals, and those are way less then then regualr radio. I never listen to regular radio anymore, I love my Sirius, and if they charge too much, they will lose customers, so I'm not worried about the merger, I'm happy about it.

AMAZING, how any one belives this will help consumers, without any competistion they will charge what ever they can get, I just purchased XM radio in December, and going to cancel it any way, Way to many commercials , If I am paying for music i expect no commercials. Trust me, the price of the new joined company will go up within the year. Look at cable prices after Comcast bought out most of the country. and in certain areas where Comcast doesnt have competistion
they treat you like crap in customer service, and charge you up the ying yang . Thanks Justice department. Doing whats been so typical of this Republican Administration .. Screwing the people.

I was going to cancel my XM because of hard times, they made me a hell of a deal, the first receiver for 4.99 and the second one free! So Ill keep it a couple more months, till Im broke, THANKS TO GEORGE BUSH! and his econimic policies.
