Everyone knows that the earth spews forth its own pollutants. It also has always had more than enough trees growing on it in the forests and rainforests that spewed forth enough oxygen to help alleviate this problem. God thought of it all. Or for those that don't believe this way, "Nature found a way".
Now, look beyond your nose!! Man comes along and starts to experiment with new technologies that aren't always for the best in the way of factories, emissions, etc, etc...... We have leveled acres of forests, both here in the United States and elsewhere in the world. So basically, as far as "Tree Hugger" goes, yes I love oxygen and therefore I love plants! SHALL WE STAY ON TOPIC NOW!!!
The story is about so much more than this. I'M NOT SURE I WANT POPULAR OPINION ON MY SIDE~~I'VE NOTICED THOSE WITH THE MOST OPINIONS OFTEN HAVE THE FEWEST FACTS!

klb 46 I know the sky is falling! The sky is falling!! -but get a grip and take a pill! Perhaps you can keep busy plugging all of the volcano cones. They prodece many times the pollution and green house gasses that humans do...then go hug a few trees so you will feel better.

Ozone depletion!! LOL.. Does anyone actually realize Lightning makes ozone. There are storms somewhere on this planet all the time making ..More ozone. So don't spoon feed us your opinions claiming all studies this and all studies that without citing the studies that can prove this. Also make note of who is actually sponsoring the studies.
If someone was hired by some "green-team" organization to find a cause for ozone depletion of course they would slant their study so they can get paid.

We are now enacting laws based on theory. There still is no definitive proof either way. I suppose some will be happy when man lives in cave or hs died off completely...thanks but no thanks.

You Liberals just never know when to stop about this global warming fantasy and neither does AOL. Every time I walk by the ice cream cone light bulbs I think of YOU and ALgore. I think how much these things cost, even at Walmart. Now, would you tree hunging environmental wackos mind stopping the senseless entrapment of our off shore drilling that other countries are doing right under our coasts and stop finding reasons to stop on-line refineries from being built, thanks to your restrictions and red tape, it takes over 20 years for a new refinery to be put online.......we aint had a new one since the 70'....now see where we are. Thanks...you stupid nutcases

To anyone who thinks that there is nothing to worry about and that this is all just BS, I would sure love to be able to see your faces on the day that you finally hit a live brain cell and see clearly just what is about to go down on this planet. And yes, perhaps the climate does cycle throughout time, but this is also mankinds fault. The natural rotation through time has NEVER included pollution to land, sea or air, depleted ozone levels, released radiation fumes traveling through the oxygen, hormones in the food sources, dangerous medications in the water supplies.........well hopefully a few of you are getting the picture!!

If the so-called "experts" made a serious effort to study the eath's climiate changes, they might actually find out that global warming and ice ages were (probably) happening eons before any of us were even thought about.

The people who want to think global warming is BS are living in a fantasy. They also clearly have not bothered to study the subject, for if they had, they'd know that something is going terribly wrong with earth's climate. And for those who point to the Dust Bowl of he 1930s - I remind you that industrialization started the century before.
