I would love to say "take all the time you need" and be all nice and sympathetic like these other fans. But I wont I cant. After meeting in several spring training games through out the past few years, I can honestly say that the only time you are not a 1st class a$$ is when the cameras are rolling. However I do hope your dad does get well that maybe, just MAYBE you can do what the Mets have been paying you to do. So far you've been nothing but a washed up joked since coming over from Boston and wasting the Mets payroll.

assofnh I hope you don't have a family crisis to attend to. If you do I hope you lose your job, because certainly you don't afford that to other people. Some families go through some pretty rough times. Hope you and your family can hang through yours.

I too got to put my prayers with your family. But as the other person said on this comment list, let's get back in the game. Have you truely felt you earned your money the Stupid Mets paid you? Yeah you should give some of it back. How many games have you pictched since you left the sox? I don't know. But It seems like not many. One thing after another. Wish you well still

My mom and I send our prayers and thoughts to you and your family, as you deal with your dad's situation. Take as much time as you need to, baseball will be here when you decide to return. Your dad needs you, and that is where you should be right now. Take care of your dad, and always know that your fans are with you.

Pedro, how many other players have family problems yet play the game they are paid to play. Excuse after excuse, After you left the Red Sox and sucked the money out of the Mets just how much of that did you truely earn? None if you want out then just be a man and pay the Mets back. You were once great. I feel you owe it to baseball fans to just drop out. Like Strawberry, hang nail can't play for three weeks. But at least he played once he was on the field. Not to put you in that group of old Mets. But What have you done since you left Boston?? Please someone tell me.

take as long as you need pedro. our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. i hope everything turns out good. id ratehr have yopu with your family than on the team with a heavy heart and im sure all met fans feel that way though our season is sinking fast but it has nothing to do with pedro it has to do with willie being crappy manager
