I want to know why on Earth the media and the GOP continue to discredit Dr. Paul. He is not a terrorist, a Nazi, an isolationist, or a loony. The reason why his supporters (myself included) are so for him is because he knows what he is talking about and he knows what to do to fix our current foreign and economic problems. The establishment candidates do not want to acknowledge his existence because they continue to "get fat" on the pork Washington let them have. Who of the 4 candidates turns down his Congressional pension and returns his budget to the treasury? RON PAUL For the people, REALLY!

Well, folks, this is not exactly what happened. What happened was that every speaker promoted the 'McCain Unity' slate every chance they got. They said they were the 'right' people to vote for and everyone else was not. It went on and on. Believe me, there was no democracy here; this was a dictatorship. All of those who worked hard and sacrificed to get on the ballot had no chance because the lemmings all went with the slate they were told to vote for. They did not think for themselves. There were various people from various political places that thought what they were doing was totally wrong. They tried to contest it because it did not follow the rules, but they were shut down.
Do not tell anyone that this was a fair and unbiased election or you will be lying.

Also, if these people that were at this convention represent the Republicans in Arizona, then the party does not truly represent the people. The party is dying because the majority were older white people. There were

I was at the AZ GOP Convention. Quite a showing by the smug, arrogant GOP leaders and the "sheeple" that blindly follow their every dictate. They make the rules and then they break their own rules. This time they had the horses to back them up, unlike Nevada. Look, 35% of the convention delegates can't stand McCain. The Party should be trying to bring these people back into the fold. They did nothing of the kind. They acked like he's King Tut. He's going to need every single vote he can get in November and he's doing nothing to protect his flank and secure his base. Instead of attending the AZ State Convention he sent the lamest of 5-minute videos to which no one paid attention. In stead he will be addressing LaRaza, a Mexican group whose stated goal is to take back the U.S. Southwest for Mexico. Way to go John. Maybe they'll make you the president of Mexico. I tihnk you're going to be out of a job come November!
