This is what we are being told is a successful surge. More lies and deception. There is no success here. The Iraqi government is and has been riddled by corruption. It has no ability to govern that the leaders of the Shiites and Sunnis do not give it. The Shiites and Sunnis have been at each others throats for over a thousand years and are not about to settle this dispute anytime soon. Bush just made it possible for them to go at each other again. This enabled al queda to capitalize on the situation and wage terrorist acts against the USA. We have lost more Americans in Iraq than on 9/11 and far more have been terribly wounded. The Iraqis are dying by the thousands and tens of thousands and millions have left their homes. Billions and now almost a trillion dollars have been wasted creating the worst situation we've been in since Viet Nam. McCain want another hundred years of war. Barack for President.
