SINCE IT'S THE OIL COMPANIES FAULT THAT GAS PRICES ARE SO HIGH AND SINCE THE OIL COMPANIES ARE THE ONLY ONES MAKING ANY MONEY THESE DAYS - THE OIL COMPANIES SHOULD PAY TO UPGRADE ALL PUMPS IN AMERICA AT THEIR OWN DAMN EXPENSE!

Look at it this way, if you took the rate of inflation from the 70's to now, The percentage of rise for gasoline is not quite so bad as a lot of other things(many, many).... What I can't understand is that heating oil and diesel fuel is less costly to refine, but why the hell is it so much higher??? Even by the oil industry standards this doesn't make sense. Have things changed that much. Guess Pres. Bush is trying to make up to the other 2 oil companies that he bankrupted.
