they game me 50 bucks for it so i could eat and get a shower, they told me that was a good deal for it since I did not have a bank acct and i should not be walking around with a picture like that it could get damaged and if they gave me more money someone on the street may take it away from me and hurt me doing it,so i said ok,as I sure did not want to get hurt, they said they was gonna sell it for the first $200,000 that comes along is that much more that the 50 .00 i got from them?they told me i got a good deal, but i did notice there is more zeros on one of them numbers, but zeros mean nothing right?thats what they told me,I never got far in schoul, esp math but everyone has troubles in math, man that was a good meal I never was so happy in my life, eating all the french fries i could, them people also bought me all the McDonalds,I could eat,and I sure hit them hard.thank you Mr jones, you really did me right.

Wow,that reminds me of the famous Picture of sponge bob I found,it was an original film fram, and was valued at $137,000,i found it while I was dumpster diving behind one of the film stuideos ,I went around front to try to return it as i thought it may have been tossed out by mistake,as you never find this kind of stuff in the dumpsters, they said for me to get the f off there property and to take my piece of crap with me,and I believe the term Hobo scumbag was used ,So I left,Then a year later i was walking by a art studio in a rich part of town looking in the windows,at all the pretty art as i loke looking at the pretty pictures, and they had some sponge bob looking frames like i had,So i got mine out of my shopping cart and took it in to show them, first they asked where i got such a good fake reproduction,I said out of the dumpster behind a studio, then they looked much closer at it and declared it geniuine ,Then informed me I would be thr rightfull owner of my story was true and it had

While I personally think that that piece of art would be better in the landfill than on a wall, I certainly commend Ms. Gibson for her due diligence in trying to find out what the painting was. She has shown herself to be an honest person. It is nice to see a person doing the right thing for a change. I also think that $15,000 is a small reward, but Sotheby's is also paying her a finder's fee. It doesn't appear that Ms. Gibson was motivated by greed and will be happy with her personal windfall. Also, I would Imagine that the owners will have to pay the insurance company any money that they collected from the original loss out of their proceeds.

I bet the orginal owner was payed off by an insurance claim for being stupid and storing it in a storage garage where it was stolen. At that point is it not the insurance who payed it off the rightful owner? Then they get it back and get another million for it , and give the person who found it 15, 000 dollars. seems 100,000 whould still have been a low reward. Just another reason to wonder if returning something is worth all the efford.

THE SELLER.....is a cheap skate. She gives you back YOUR stolen painting....it is worth a million dollars and you only give her 15,000 ??? SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT GIVING HER A BIGGER REWARD!!

If it is worth a ~~M i l l i o n~~ she should get a heck of a lot more reward than 15 Grand! She should get a couple hundred thousand. She was honest and should be amply rewarded!!!
