American's pay far to little attention to events going on in other nations. Events that hold potential to affect us directly and indirectly. It's an ominious sign when former Soviet provinces are activily seeking NATO membership.
Eastern Europe has a long history when it comes to an ability to discern the winds of trouble up ahead. We here practice an isolationism akin to ostriches who bury they're head in the sand.
Then when something as a people we've ignored hits the fame we pick a figure head to blame.
