This article claims "a defeat for the Bush administration" ? Why not give it the title that is truthful instead . The truth is that this ruling is a defeat for American citizens. Most of us in this country understand the need to protect our nation from terror, no matter where it comes from.
Only a liberal would want to "report" this Sears Tower story with an agenda . Thank God that most citizens in this country are too smart to fall for this liberal "reporters" minor-league attempt at spinning the truth. Curt Anderson's comments are discusting , and wrong. He should be fired by the AP.

Bush believes it's more important to convict SOMEONE than to convict the actual criminals. He also believes the facts don't matter. That's not why our founding fathers created our justice system. Bush's draconian tactics are unAmerican. It's Bush who should be on trial for dragging the nation into a bogus war and wasting hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars.

BTW, anyone who is so poor that they must resort to criminal behavior to survive in America should not be allowed to enter the country. These are all Haitian and Dominican discontents. They come from the two worst countries in the Americas thanks to the corruption of the governments they keep re-electing. They were given the opportunity to come to the land of opportunity and they repay the USA by being criminals. I have no compassion or pity for them.
And before anyone starts shouting racism, I am an immigrant as well.

Seems to me these folks were engaging in illegal behavior, conspiring, for trick or whatever, to defraud someone or maybe truly carry out their intent. I doubt the informant planted any ideas in their heads. Either way they are criminals and they should be imprisoned and then deported back to theri misserable crappy countries (Haiti and Dominican Republic). Perhaps the one guy that was acquitted was really not involved, but the rest were. I don't know if the Government has also charged them with racketeering and fraud, but these six that are left are not what you would call exemplary citizens anyway, and to add insult to injury, they are not even natural born citizens!

Is it the same dang people who go to every message board posting about those stupid Millionaire.com dating sites? Do they think everyone is that stupid to fall for their fake posts? Annoying ads. Let's not forget the Tombclock guy, too.

I GUESS THE "RULE OF LAW" STILL PREVAILS in AMERICA (unless you happen to be George W. Bush, in which case.. you simply ignore it).
