What a perfect example of how exactly I feel like America does not extoll the virtues of its own Bill of Rights. From the 1st Amendment verbatim, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peacebly to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievancees."That is the cornerstone of American belief, and it does not truly exist as written. Point being, religion = faith = belief......The "magic mushrooms" have used in religious cermonies for centuries yet they are illegal? What about the 1st Amendement?...Fear and paranoia are readily available with or without drugs, for it lingers in the air...FDR, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself"...So something that intensifies sensation can and will have a fear factor of sorts too....I believe control is an illusion beyond man/woman... One can barely if at all control their own emot

Some of the comments on here talk about legalizing pot and other drugs, and the benifits from them. The studies that have been done in the past is of a small amount of people, this one was like 34 or 36 people and a third had a bad reaction. I know too many people that when they get high they are not civil they can become violent, unlike when they drink. It depends on the person and the settings. I think medical uses of certain drugs should be legalized, and closely monitored. Its not the gov't controling things, its a way to protect. As for taxes, we have taxes on veggis which are locally grown. Some people need to rethink things and look at both sides, not just want THEY want.

I've never tried 'shrooms. Not for lack of want either, or effort. They just aren't around much anymore.

I used to love to do mushrooms when I went canoeing years ago back in the 70's. It doubled the experience of being outdoors with nature.
