The numbers came to him by way of a juice bottle. Powerball winner Jonathan Vargas, 19, says he noticed his July birthday as the expiration date on the drink. Then a voice in his head told him, "Your family is going to bring you success and fortune." So he picked the numbers based on the ages of his family members -- and hit the jackpot. It is a very sad day...I cannot believe some of the hideous comments that have been posted. First off...when did this young man ask for anyone's opinion??? It is so amazing to me to see all of the advise that has been offered. Positive advise is a blessing...Mediocre advise is the norm...Malicous and destructive advise and/or opinions eminates from ones rotten soul...Only someone with an evil thought process would manufacture such ugliness! What happened in your life to make you so dog on hateful? Did your parents not love you enough...Did the reflection in the mirror in which you were gazing, tell you a horrible truth? Did you give up on yourself and think that it is okay to try and hurt as many "innocent" people as you can??? Well, clearly it is too late to start over...these comments run too deep. So here is what you do...get a pad of paper out and write down all the positive things that you have said and done today just because...then write down all the negative and hurtf

cellowriter123...That's because the WV 8 opted for the cash payout instead of yearly installments. I agree with you on the taxation part 100%. That's like paying into social security all your life, then when it comes time to receive your monthly check, you have to pay taxes on it again!! I just hope this kid has a good head on his shoulders and finds the best attorneys available to protect him, as well the best financial advisors to protect the money, so that he may have a long fulfilling life. He could probably double the money or more, if he plans well!

He probably got relatives coming out of the woodwork now.

He'll be broke in 3 years. Alone in a corner with a pistol in his mouth.
