Wow a wage cut for workers! Lets do the same thing only with CEO's who have INCREASED their wages 10 fold in the last 10 years! Most union bashers don't realize that it is the negotiating power of unions which raises all standards of pay and benefits ,even for those not in a union and for lower management. When they don't make a living wage , you won't either! If not for GATT and NAFTA their would be no unfair competition from abroad and we would still have many manufacturing jobs here. The politicians who voted for these trade bills are TRAITORS. I worked in a union job and in management and am now retired. I feel sorry for any person trying to make a decent living in our country today. They import cheap labor (illegals) and through work VISA's to take what is left of decent jobs.

Evenually all Unions will be gone. Most companys with Unions are going under or are declining in profit. Unions keep low skilled workers employed and drive prices up for everyone.

Honda has several parts warehouses in the US. One of the warehouses has more problems with thieft, broken parts and accidents, then all the others put together. Its there only Union run warehouse. Point made!

For those of you that hate the American auto workers. I have to wonder, do you really think the big 3 are going to pass the savings on to the consumer. They pay the Mexican auto worker next to nothing, but it doesen't show on the sticker price, now does it.

I say let these companys move to another country, if they can't pay a decent wage let them leave we do not need jobs like this, the only ones it is going to hurt is the auto companys, the housing market is finding out what happens when corporate greed takes over nobody can afford a house, next the only people that will be able to afford a new car will be the corporate theifs since the working peoples wages have been cut, yeah if they can't pay a living wage I say kick their azz out maybe to china or mexico those people have no respect for themselves they will work for peanuts or jumping beans.

Really! I am almost at a loss for words on that comment. You obviously don't under stand how many jobs are affected by each auto worker that is out of a job.

truckerguy01 My entire post didn't show up. So to finish my response... You are responsible for knowing your time window. You had to have done more than try to deliver early, and roll your eye's. I know drivers that have been banned, and it is always something more. I would lay odd's that you also ran your mouth a bit to much. Even so, know your time window and stick to it. It is there for a reason!

Report This! the union..pffft. i arrived at a GM plant in lansing,mi. 1 hour early. there were 12 docks open and no one in my way. i parked my truck and walked inside to shipping and recieveing and handed them my paperwork. the man got cocky and THREW my paperwork at me. i rolled my eyes and picked up my paperwork and walked back to my truck. my cell phone began ringing and it was my company saying that i had been banned from that plant bc i was an hour early. and this same man-excuse me..HYPOCRITE goes to union meetings and claims he stands up for the working person???? gimme a break. ALL union people are only for themselves. period. they harrass and humilate and degrade you only bc they know they can get away with it. they're cowards and the whinest bunch of cry baby lazy ass people you will ever meet. piss on the union. they're a joke..nothingmore.
