Well, lets see, the value of the dollar is down. The gas price is up. The food prices are up. Businesses are laying off workers and some are closing. The banks are closing. The housing market is in a meltdown. Foreign companies are buying our iconic businesses. The illegals are using up our resources. The Congress and the White House are just bickering and incapable of giving solutions. We have two wars and our soldiers are dying. China, India and Mexico are taking our jobs. Our infrastructures are crumbling. We have wildfires, hurricane katrina damage that still need to be fixed, floods in the midwest that has damaged many homes. Our media fixated with sensational news and corrupted our minds. Our cities have been overcome with crime and prostitution. Our children our growing up in uncertainty. This is America and our politicians should wake up and smell the beans!!!

Sales were actually up .8%, but car sales went way down causing the .1% figure. When Detroit figures out how to build a car that gets 50 mpg, sales will go way up again. We were fools allowing these gas guzzlers to be built, even though we tried through CAFE standards to get mileage figures up, the Bush oil team rejected them.

Listen---your elected leaders, and big companies, don't give two ***** about you. They don't live in YOUR world. Keep your money in your pocket. Don't buy anything unless you absolutely have to. Illegal's certainly are apart of our nation's problem. They are parasites getting everything out of our schools, health, social and other services. They do not want to learn English. In other words - come to America and leech off American Tax payers. The ones that really want to come here and work - should be making an effort to get their green card - the rest I would personally escort back to the border where we should have a large fence which is patrolled by guards and all defence systems necessary.However - the biggest threat to our country is our Liberals in Government.People who cannot have looked into the future over 30 years ago during the last gas embargo and said "Hmmmmm! this could really happen again and again....The do gooders in Government are killing us.We have no prayer in school or in public buildings.We are losing our roots America, that is One nation under God.
