Adults just don't appreciate how emotionally fragile children can be. Especially nowadays, kids must deal with all kinds of social pressures: they are badgered into sexual activity, must keep up with the latest trends and fashions, and must know their place in the pecking order of the cattle pen ("school").

On top of which, they must do actual school work (remember that?), and find their own individual paths in life.

For many kids, this is way too much. I wonder how many more of these sad children are ready to pack it in?

this mother, drew, is a piece of ****. maybe parents will listen and go back to the old ways of actually parenting and not worrying, " do my kids think i am cool?" this is a clear example of a parent that should be or have been spayed before hand. what a piece of crap. i hope she gets all 20 years to think about the destruction she helped to orchestrate on a young girl, her parents, the community, and the world. *****.

people are no more viscous than they have ever been. The historically ignorant think the world is becoming sadder. It is not. Although this is tragic, the girl is responsible for her own suicide. No one can "make" someone else kill themsleves, without a great deal of submission from the person killing themselves. Let's all begin to take responsiblity for ourselves!

Very Sad when people are not using pleasant words and being disrespecting no matter what size, color, age......lke or dislike an individual.......all people still have feelings and common respect should override any feelings you have .....love and respect has been fading out....it's sad
