That's right up there with the kid who murders his parents and then begs for mercy because he's an orpahn..

A victim of lifetime violence.

Sounds like a severe case of Post-partum depression!

Her poor body had no chance to recover from the last pregnancy when she conceived again. All those changes and hormones must wreak havoc. ...

Did you know ---- a pregnant woman's brain loses a minor percentage of it's mass during the pregnancy? No wonder some of us go nuts! Don't worry ladies - your brain returns to normal six months after birth though.

What!? She left an infant to die a long, suffering death and the judge has sympathy for her and the lawyer wants her to get probation? And the worst is she wants to get back to being a mother to her daughters? Why does she still have her daughters in the first place? She needs to go to prison for a long, long time and to never be a mother again. That judge needs to be removed.

Typically women will get one free baby murder. They will put it off on SIDS or claim she is a victim of domestic violence and give her a light sentence. Two or more child murders will usually get the book thrown at them. Men get no such benefit of the doubt.
