It would be a totally different dynamic with Brittney Spears and one I would not be interested in viewing!

First of all, I think having someone new on the show will be a good thing. Randy is corny as hell with all of his "yo's and dawgs" he's always saying the same thing. Same for Paula, I can't even stand to hear her talk! That bitch is always on something. I DO NOT however think that putting someone like Brittany Spears on the show will help at all. They need someone with talent, someone who respects themself. Who's gonna respect Brittany Spear's opinion? She's a joke!! The worst thing she ever did was get married and have children. Now the true "white trash" in her is coming out!

donna (3:00 PM 6/5/2007): I think the show is great. I also think that all of the judges are awesume. I went to high school with Randy, and to me, his talent has excelled to multitueds higher than expected. Good luck on future shows, as I admire what it has created. Lot's of talent!!!

kimk (3:35 PM 6/5/2007): I can't hold my tongue any longer. This is to all of you who are making snide comments about Paula and how she needs an intervention.
After you've walked in her shoes, you then have a right to make those remarks. Once you've suffered from RSDS then you can talk. There are two types of RSDS patients, 90% that take narcotics like myself and continue to work and be a functioning member of society and those who curl up on the couch with a TV remote and collect disability letting you and I support them. I believe what you all percieve as her problem is a combo of her pain meds and this giddy facade that was most likely adapted as a coping mechanism.
You can't walk in her shoes but you can do a little research on RSDS before you judge the woman. Read about the type of pain she deals with on a daily basis and then if you still want to play God and judge her do it utilizing an intelligent, informed opinion.

Kell (3:50 PM 6/5/2007): This is the first year I haven't watched Idol, only because of programs that were on the same time this year that were more interresting. One thing for sure is if Brittney is on the show, I will not watch it again. I don't like the person she has become and the mother she has become so it will so long Americhn Idol if she joins Simon on the panel.

Vall (3:58 PM 6/5/2007): That is some rumor. I don't believe it for a minute. Paula and Randy are educated in the music business. I don't think Britney even graduated high school. If they go, the show won't be the same. If nothing else, they are comedic relief during the auditions.
