She was having a temper tantrun(for a 26 yr. old, that is grossly disgusting, and she is just making a fool out of herself)I say "You go judge," keep her in there longer, and let her get a taste of the reality of real life!She is a pathetic excuse for a woman, and a lousy example of an extremely rich person that has not ever done anything for anyone else, except for herself!Hell, she can't get away from the cameras for even 2 minutes, and stop adoring herself and loving herself, and that is appalling. There is absolutely no comparison in her and Caroline Kennedy, now there is a lady. Take a good long look at Maria Shriver, there is another lady that has money, and worked very hard for what she has, which is a beautiful family, and a very rich one at that, and still has self respect and dignity!

Ruth P. (11:21 AM 6/9/2007): I am sick and tired of "celebrities" getting special treatment by our justice system. Do you think we would be accorded the same treatment if it were us instead of Paris? Let the spoiled little rich brat pay for her crimes like the rest of us would. The only thing she is good for is being a spoiled brat with her mother reinforcing this behavior. Remember everyone, when she went to court her mother was making derogatory remarks to the judge and prosecutor as if the Hiltons were immune from being treated like the rest of us. I think she should serve the full 45 days so that it MIGHT teach her that her acts have consequences---just like the rest of us. Does some dead person have to be hanging off her bumper before people wake up to the detriment of her drunken ways. The Hiltons are no better than the rest of us average people. As I've always said, rich people are just poor people with money.

It is not right to send her back-the judge should have held the sheriff, who released her, for contempt if he wanted. This is like double jeopardy!
Now she is being persecuted, although originally she was wrong and deserved to face the consequences.

Stephen (4:59 AM 6/11/2007): They should ammend the judicial system so that when a celebrity does something wrong they are held to a higher standard than that of average people. For instance if a celebrity gets caught for driving drunk, they should automatically have their license terminated for 5 years and have to pay triple the normal fine on the first offense, plus go to AA meetings for 6 months (twice a week) and do 10 months of community service (preferably with MADD approved organizations) On the second offense they should have their license terminated permanently, be sentenced to 6 months in jail (Gen. Pop.) 18 months community service, $50K fine and 1 year of AA meetings. On the third offense they should be locked up for 5 years (no time off for good behavior). This may eem harsh but c'mon people, these celebrities get preferential treatment just by being allowed to go into Protective Custody in the first place, not to mention all the other perks that they get from the legal system. These celebrities are in the public eye 24/7 and influence children and teens everyday, therefore they should be held even more accountable for their actions. The kids will see this and definitely think about doing the same stupid things that these celebrity idiots (yes, you Paris) do.

sheryl cole (12:15 PM 6/9/2007): I take this in 2 ways . I feel terrible at what Paris is going through ! She is not the type of person that is made up to go through this " jail thing " . Coming from the background and family that she came from , this has to be devastating for her , and my heart really goes out to her and her ordeal . On the other hand , Paris has always been in the " Limelight " thinking that the rules that we all follow , did not pertain to her . She has been headed up the wrong path for quite some time now thinking that her Money and family name could get her out of anything and allow her to do anything without ever thinking of the consequences that they might bring . Maybe this experience will finally open up her eyes and save her life in the longrun . She was definitely headed for something terrible to happen to her by the way she was behaving , maybe even causing someone else's death by her actions . Paris , I love you , and I know that there is a " Great " person inside of the one that you portray to everyone by your crazy antics . Keep your head up and take this time to consider what the rest of your life will be like . I only hope to god that you choose the right path after this ordeal , and use what you have in your life to be able to enjoy the rest of it . You have so much more than most of us do and need to dig down inside and use all of this to live a long and great lifestyle . One last thing , choose who you hang around with , this is the most important thing to persevere.

Katie Couric's Nemesis (12:34 PM 6/9/2007): Ahhhh, the poor little baby, separated from Mommy and crying her heart out. How much was she crying when she was wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with "I am Paris Hilton and I can do what I want?"
Look folks, they were LATE to court. Mommy and Daddy had plenty of time to spiff themselves up for the gig. Paris is being COACHED by the team of lawyers they have-she's a wannabe actress, too, you know. Maybe this is her Oscar bid.
And, to those who are asking why Sheriff Baca isn't held accountable for the decision to release her, he is. Although Baca did not appear in court (his lawyers did), the judge is asking why he should not be cited, and held, for contempt of court.
Oh yes, one more thing...Paris's "medical" condition is being witheld from the judge. If it is shown to him, it must become part of the court records. That is what the judge wants. Paris's lawyers don't want it int he public record. The rumor is, Paris has Herpes. That can EASILY be treated in the jails (as plenty of inmates already have Herpes, HIV, AIDs, etc.,)> But what will happen to Paris' sex career and her willingness to allow anything in pants to pork her if the word gets out that she has a transmittable, incurable (and there is no CURE for HERPES; it can only be controlled and you can easily contract it from someone who is being treated, but the rash is rampant)disease such as HERPES? EEEWWWW.

Cornhusker (12:35 PM 6/9/2007): Paris is getting what she deserves. If you are not a celebrity, then there is no doubt you will serve the full sentence. She is not above the law, PERIOD! There is no excuse for her drinking and driving when she has her own limo driver to take her any place she wants to go, and or, the money to pay for a cab. Not only did she break the law once, but twice. Obviously she didn't learn from her first ticket and probation. For those of you that think she is being mistreated then go ask the families who have lost a loved one to a drunk driver. Trust me to those of you that think Paris is being mistreated, WRONG! Enjoy your stay in jail Paris and learn your lesson and don't do it again!

Hey Mr. & Mrs. Hilton, with all your money why not hire her a chauffeur instead of allowing her to endanger people as well as herself. I have buried both of my boys. Yes both killed by other drinking and driving.
