jo (11:08 PM 6/9/2007): I am sorry this has happened to Paris, but she is no different then anyone else, except she has money. If you are jailed for drugs etc. and you are put on probabtion. Once you violate your probation it could mean prison. Most normal people use public defenders so they get what they deserve.Paris can afford a real lawyer to get her off. She needs to do out her sentence given. Just because she is a Hilton does not mean special treatment. Anyway she did not have to drive She havs drivers that could have driven her where ever she wants to go. To say she did not realize her license was suspended is really stupid. Even though Paris is blonde I don't believe she is that stupid to have thought her liscense was not suspended. Sorry do the crime pay the time.

The stupid media just bought it without question. Not one of her Cousins, Aunts, or Uncles use such a silly, childish moniker. Not one of her relatives (beside her own attention seeking family) have come to her defense. Hilton gives the "legit" Hilton family a bad name. An enormous amount of people in L.A. have far more resources than P.H.'s measly bank roll. John (12:53 AM 6/10/2007): No wonder why the judge never received the papers specifying her "medical condition" on time before ruling to send her back to jail. Lawyers are not new to tricks and they figured sending the judge the specifics on her "condition" will amount to reading she was depressed, fearful, concerned, etc, all typical symptoms for anyone to feel when going to jail, much so for the first time and coming from a wealthy, empty-headed lifestyle.

They thought they would move the judge to think about a serious condition and either postpone his decision or considering upholding the sheriff's mistake of releasing her earlier.

This only brings one question to mind. Did the sheriff get paid in some way under the table to make that early release possible when her condition points to indicate to be normal adjustment to an adverse new setting?. If her condition had been something serious like heart condition or the like, I would see some justification for the sheriff's actions. He knew the details, the public didn't. How many non-celebrity, not wealthy people Sheriff Baca released early to their homes due to maladjustment disguised under "medical condition". I hope someone is investigating that sheriff for real.

There are several Prision inmates that are dying from diseases such as cancer, aids ect. and they are not being released early because of "medical conditions". Why should Miss Hilton be any diffrent from any other American Citizen?

SWAN (1:51 AM 6/10/2007): I feel quite sure, that girl will not learn any lessons during her stay in jail. Oh, maybe for a while she will be a good little girl, but it probably won't last long.
Money does odd things to people. She'll be out and about as soon as she can. Bet on it! Medical condition? It can be treated while she pays her dues. Maybe, brother Barron (who names their kid that, I did have a dog named that)will learn his own lesson from what his sister has done. But, I doubt it. He'll make the same mistakes, watch the news. On a personal level, I know someone who had two dui's and the last one put him in jail, in Texas, for 6 long years. Luckily, he never killed or hurt anyone, other than himself and family. Lets remember people, who think this is so harsh, she did something wrong and is now paying the price. As for that moron who let her out? He needs to be dealt with quickly. Go judge! By listening to other "famous" people being interviewed, most think her being sent back is pure gold. Now, all we can do, is hope that other celeb's will be handled the way Paris is, when they break the law. Last thought, I would venture to say that most people don't sleep or eat in the beginning of serving time.

Hey she can play herself.. about how terrible she was treated and how unfair the system was to her to think they actually EXPECTED her to serve her time! The old saying "If ya can't do the time don't do the crime."
But I wonder if there was s stop payment on the check to the sheriff for letting her out early. I think the matter should be looked into about the sheriff. Something doesn't seem right about the whole deal.. and to let her go home at 2 a.m... sounds fishy to me!
But I am glad she is back behind bars and will be for a while!

linda (6:36 AM 6/10/2007): Medical condition! Try detoxing from cocaine! That is the reason she is so skinny. Of course she is sleeping all the time now, she hasn't been able to get her high on. Paris Hilton finally has to pay for her lack of respect for the law. She was caught twice driving without a license. She got away with it the first time, second time must have been an honest police officer who was not influenced by who she is. Bravo to him! Do you think that sheriff was payed off? I really hope the authorities are looking into that. I have never heard of a sheriff over riding a judge's order! Her parents are crying because their little spoiled brat has to go to jail for 23 days. Wonder how they would cry if she or another person was killed in a drunken driving accident caused by her? HER MENTAL PROBLEM IS HER WORRING ABOUT GAINING WEIGHT WITHOUT HER LITTLE WHITE POWDER. SLEEPING AND NOT EATING, GO FIGURE.

Dana (7:04 AM 6/10/2007): Every single day you hear about so many innocent people being killed by drivers that are under the influence. When you have to tell a child that their Mommy or Daddy aren't coming home because they were killed...When you have to tell parents that the accident they were just in killed their children.....when you have to tell a whole family that their beloved relative was run down as they were walking on a sidewalk....etc than you feel that even a 45 day sentence is lenient. These people of wealth are no different than the average person. You are committing an offense and should be prosecuted. Paris.....Your wealth cannot bring back the dead. You choose to get behind the wheel of a car intoxicated and think that by kicking and screaming the law will side with you. Hooray for the law!!!!!!

I think the community service you should serve is working in a facility that is trying to help people that have lost a loved one to people like you. Maybe you will understand that you can't buy certain things. Your irresponsiblity will someday cause pain to someone for the rest of their lives and you will just keep on thinking IT'S NOT FAIR to go to jail. For the first time in your little dream world of fun and games.....you weren't given a Get Out Of Jail Free card. You were born into this world with a famous name.....you don't know what true life is all about. You are amoung the fake plastic people that actually don't add beauty to this world but actually destroy our beauty. This world should never envy people like you and your family....they should feel sorry for you. You all are the most pathetic people I have ever read about.

Its good for her she needs to toughen up, but of course, she will not be with the general population. She is nothing more that a spoiled little BRAT. And as far as Paris's brother, she has 2...That no-one seems to know about. They are never in the Media, but of course I guess that is because Paris is taking it all. Someone should pat that Judge on the back, and they should make her do community work at a place where people are not as fortunate as her. Maybe then and only then she would realize how LUCKY she is.
