DIANNE (8:28 AM 6/10/2007): SHE MADE A JOKE OF HERSELF .. SPOILED BRAT. SHE SHOULD'NT CRY....SHE'S GOING LOVE JAIL, EX PORN STAR IN PRISON... WOW, SHE'S GOING TO BE EVERYONES MEAL IN PRISON.....
southwesthmc (8:47 AM 6/10/2007): Hmmm. Paris is being watched in a glass cage and receiving psychotropic drugs. Sounds like she might be suicidal. If only she would do the honorable thing and put the herself out of the world's misery of having to hear and read about her shenanigans.
Rosa (9:17 AM 6/10/2007): I wonder if Laura Bush's parents paid to keep her from being charged with vehicular homicide in 1963? After all, all states except Alaska, Montana, Arizona and Oregon have vehicular homicide statues. The laws have the effect of making a vehicle a potentially deadly weapon, to allow for easier conviction and more severe penalties. In states with such statutes, defendants can still be charged with manslaughter or murder in some situations.
On November 6, 1963, two days after she turned 17, Bush (then Laura Welch) was driving her Chevrolet sedan with her classmate Judy Dyke. It was shortly after 8 p.m. on a clear night when Welch entered the intersection of State Highway 349 and Texas Farm Road 868 (now a four lane highway). Welch drove through the intersection's stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet Corvair sedan killing classmate Michael Dutton Douglas, also 17. Welch and Dyke sustained minor injuries; Douglas was later pronounced dead on arrival at Midland Memorial Hospital. Welch was not criminally charged in connection with the collision. In May 2000, a two-page police report about the car crash was made public, following a Freedom of Information Act request by journalists, due to the refusal of Midland officials to release the information. To this day, she does not talk publicly about the accident.
Secp (9:48 AM 6/10/2007): Ah, poor Paris, finally the Hilton's history has caught up with them. This all comes as no surprise to those of us who KNOW them and their family background. Bigoted, prejudice, privileged anti black, anti-semetic and anti middle class snobs at their worst. These are not nice people and the monetary outlay for glamor represented by the women behind bars is obscene.
PH misjudged the judge, who rightly slammed her skinny butt back behind bars. As one who knows first hand her lifestyle, in fairness to her, it is the family who are most assuredly at fault for her bad behavior.
One thing more, Paris should not be left off on probation after these days behind bars, the judge ought give her mandatory community service in an area where she comes in contact with those not so fortunate in monetary wealth.
Yes, Paris and her ilk deserve to learn life lessons and that will not happen only through sitting on her arse in jail.
DHilton (10:16 AM 6/10/2007): I am so glad you guys are so mean, imagin your child or your sister or cousin in this position. Are you going to continue to blog about them the same way. NO you not, you would cry how injust this is. With all this hatred in the world it is time to stop. bashing other peoples mistakes. If it was not for the Media we would know nothing about this. Time for you poor folk to move on to something more happier. I am glad that I have Heart and feel for this young girl who is terrified.
Sanchez (10:23 AM 6/10/2007): I commend the judge who sent Paris back to jail. Not that I dislike Paris, but the law is the law. The other person who should be punished is Sheriff Baca who undermined the Judge and sent Paris home. The last I heard disobaying a direct order is a firing offense. Hopefully Sheriff Baca's misconduct will not just be pushed under the carpet. Time will tell.
Reggie (10:33 AM 6/10/2007): Should Ms. Hilton be punished for driving under the influence? Absolutely yes, just as anyone else would be. What is with her parents? do they not see the danger in this? What if she killed herself--or someone innocent-- while doing this??? What, would the parents just pay off the families??? Fair is fair...and this sets an example for the young people who think that she is cool..she is not cool at all. Let her serve her time..and enough with the media coverage.
ron rootermen (10:58 AM 6/10/2007): Any 'statement' this pig makes is from the publicist, not paris. She demonstrated how she got her wishes satisfied by her parents: thro a tantrun and cry...it didnt work with the judge
georgia kritikos (1:06 PM 6/11/2007): Paris....you go girl.....don t worrry about it this is not the only hard thing youll ever go through...wait till you have children...just fullfill all your responsibilities and your self will be full of strength and integrity...look what Socrates had to go through...you just have to put a lilttle "time" in ...just be nice in there and follow the rules...and pray to God in the name of Jesus...and youll come out rockin and rollin like you ve never felt before....babe.....G
johnc1237 (11:19 AM 6/10/2007): With the world in war and threatened by terrorism, why in the world the media is paying so much attention to paris, who exemplifies the degenerating society of few. Who is encouraging the media to pay so much attention to someone so useless ?!
More importantly, Paris is a terrifying bad role model for our young who will build this country.
Johnny 2 Fingers McGoo (11:44 AM 6/10/2007): The problem is the parents. Most kids will react by what they are taught.
Crash (11:44 AM 6/10/2007): Thanks God Paris is in jail for only a very short time. Had she caused an accident and there had been deaths.....it would be far more than 45 days. Paris, I hope you think about what COULD have happened to you and others during your time behind bars.
arlene (11:57 AM 6/10/2007): how dare they compare Paris Hilton to Princess Di.She doesn't even fit in the same catergory.Diana was the next best thing to a saint.and Paris? a richspoiled brat.
ashante (12:11 PM 6/10/2007): see this is what i'm talking about this bitch walks around thinkin she's cute and shit but she don't know shes ugly as hell and she talks about her corny ass cd and sex tapes and how much money she has and sister nikki but damn i had no idea there was a little brother. DAMN YOU'RE SURE THOUGHT OF AT ALL TIMES HUH!! SHE'S A BLOCKHEAD ASS BITCH AND FUCKIN BUSTDOWN ASS HOE!~!!!
Marie (11:45 AM 6/13/2007): OMyG paris should be out of jail because she is so kool and niice
rick (12:36 PM 6/10/2007): After 33 years in law enforcement I cannot recall one instance when someone was sentenced to jail time for driving with a suspended license after being placed on probation supervision for d.w.i..
Technically, that is also a violation of parole for those under parole supervision, who are usually convicted murderers, rapists, burglars, drug dealers and armed robbers. I don't remember anyone being sent back to state prison for driving with a suspended license either.
Paris Hilton SHOULD be treated like anyone else, which would probably have involved graduated sanctions, such as electronic monitoring, imposition of a curfew, enrollment in outpatient counseling or some other method to instill a sense of responsibility for her behavior, not jail time.
Besides being somewhat of an elitist, she seems like an otherwise nice kid who is the victim of schandefreude by the public and media.
susana (8:39 AM 6/11/2007): To Paris and others who choose to drink and drive...
I feel you do the CRIME, you do the TIME!! If Paris plays the Psyche card she will just make life worse for herself, for once you get a record for being a NUT it never goes away.and life never gets better! But its a worst life if you are seen as Crazy than if you were a criminal. Trust me, there is a difference and your spotlight gets a twisted turn of events if they even think your crazy. Why not just do the time and get over it, for 45 days is not as bad as a year,or three, like many criminals get these days for what you did!! Esp black and Mexicans. They re given at least a year in jail if not more. Be happy your white and rich, for most persons in your shoes are in jail for at least a year for the same crime. And if you make waves your just going to get more jail time or more bad publicity! So best to be quiet and take your medicine . be all you can be where ever you are. Hey, the best of them survived jail.... Johnny Cash, Elvis, they all went to jail. And they got better at who they were! maybe this will make you a better person and a better model for others to follow? And maybe you may find you can help someone in jail. Hey Martha Stewart did. You may even turn your life around and be more than a pretty face snob!!Show the world your better than anyone would predict. Get a new perspective on how the other half lives and grow their own suffering. many have suffered worst than a 45 day stint in the slammer! And have far worse problems that you will ever have being rich. They have worse problems than you do being poor and dumb. And a worst off life than you. Its not all roses, partying and jewels for the other half of society. The poor and ignorant. They feel denied what you have. You at least have a life once your out, not many others do. In jail you will see there are others with worst stories and worse suffering than your 45 measly days in jail. You ought to be thankful its not more time. Just learn from your experience, put it behind you, and get on with doing the right things, and try not making a repeat of the same crime! Nor go to jail. Stay clean and stop the drunk and dumb partying.Stop drinking and driving for you are lucky you did not kill anyone. For you could have spent your life and a lifetime in jail and with regrets. Trust me your fortunate that you did not kill anyone. It could get worst if you continue on this downward spiral of drinking and driving. I know some drunk almost killed me. Do you
want to kill someone? Then stop being a jerk with money and do something good for a change!! Get over that stupid and senseless acts of drinking and driving, for your lucky you did not kill anyone! Real lucky! But maybe not so lucky the next time you drink and drive! Be careful because it could still happen! You will be surprised how fast 45 days goes and you can jump back. Good luck, but PLEASE do NOT drink and drive, because the next time you may kill someone. So STOP and think before you get drunk!! I am glad they stopped you now before you really ruined your life. So please stop being a BABY!! GROW up! Stop drinking and driving! And stay out of trouble, and don't mess with things you know can get you into trouble. I pray you don't go back to jail, but if you continue to drink and drive; don't be surprised when you go to jail for life!! When you kill someone while your drunk its the same as premeditated murder! Take a learn from others. Don't repeat what others have done. Live and let live. Stay clean! For you have a second chance, don't blow it!! Choose wisely and...by choosing to NOT drink and drive!! You already stopped the wheels of what could be. Stop and think. Before you end up killing another person with your car, for that is murder if your drunk or crazy you still will go to jail from murdering another person with your car. Your Mummy or Daddy cant stop you after the fact but they can at least prevent you from being ignorant! If your parents really cared they would let you stay in jail now, to prevent you from ruining your life. You would be wise to stop drinking before you kill someone, for that is an act of aggression if you ask me. Please think before you drink. Do not drive and drink. Its a choice you have now, but if you get drunk and you kill, its too late then, and you will go to jail for as long as most murderer's do...LIFE, if you kill someone!! Because drinking and driving
do NOT mix!! Because a car be a potential murder weapon in the hands of a drunk. . Yes, after 11 years, I am still suffering after the car an older man drove while he was drunk almost killed me, all for a drink!! He went thru a stop light and nearly killed me. and I was never properly compensated. I am still seeing Dr's because of that crime towards me.> For: The victim pays dearly, but the one who commits the crime seems to get off Scott free compared to the victim who suffers the rest of their life, with scars and other health issues. Your just lucky you did not hurt anyone but yourself NOW, but what will happen the next time? Think about it Paris. If you really had any real good friends they would tell you all I just did!! Stop drinking before its too late!! Susana L

mina (12:56 PM 6/10/2007): I like many others have lost friends and family to DRUNK drivers. I have no sympathy for the girl. I dont think she or anyone else should have anymore than one chance when found drunk driving. That's all my friends and family got. This girl needs to spend some time with EMSA or in the Emergency Room or even better Iraq. If she wants to kill someone, go there and kill someone that counts and help out our country at the same time.
Sandman (1:02 PM 6/10/2007): The hardest thing Paris Hilton's ever done is a cock.
