Jill (5:30 PM 7/16/2007): He's right for the job.
Debbie (5:50 PM 7/16/2007): Give it to anyone but Rosie! Drew Carey would be great.
David (6:25 PM 7/16/2007): i am 61 years old and have watch price for more years than i remember. i will be an ex-viewer if that goofball becomes the host. first rosie, now this dud.
dozer bob (7:19 PM 7/16/2007): hes very funny, but he's already got a show. and he's not the right for the price
he or she should be new or not been seen no tv in some time. but liked by young and old.
look at hosts of old game shows. not from the new music world. and with class.
pat (8:17 PM 7/16/2007): Mario is the right choice
andrea (8:23 PM 7/16/2007): There will not be another Bob Barker... No matter who they get the show will not be the same..
Janie (8:24 PM 7/16/2007): Drew Carey is great but I think that Jeff Foxworthy would be the best choice. Currently, he is hosting Are you smarter than a 5th grader? on the FOX network.
Cheryl (8:43 PM 7/16/2007): OH GAG ME!!!!
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!
Rosie NO NO NO NO NO!
George Hamilton - yes
Can't you see the Price turned into a total gag show? YEEECH!
Babs (8:49 PM 7/16/2007): To Have Drew Carey back on the small screen is only a wish come true.
I think he would bring a lot of laughter to the price is right.
Good luck Drew.....
You have been missed.....
Babs
David Wilson (9:13 PM 7/16/2007): Drew would do a good job of course, but I dont think hes ready to settle for the PRICE....maybe 10 years from now when hes older
Sue Kent (9:27 PM 7/16/2007): I don't find Drew Carey at all appealing. I would prefer Mario Lopez or George Hamilton or almost anyone else....but NOT Rosie!
Joe (9:35 PM 7/16/2007): Rosie is the only one that will revive The Price is Right. Bad decision not to give her everything she wants to do it.
mick (9:50 PM 7/16/2007): I hadn't considered Drew Carey before now, but it's a no-brainer. I still watch re-runs of Whose Line on ABC Family. This man is brilliant. I really hope CBS makes this happen.
Mary Trumbo (11:31 PM 7/16/2007): I've watched Price is Right for years. If Drew or Rosie are given the job I will not watch. Same goes for the overbaked George Hamilton.
Steph (11:57 PM 7/16/2007): Actually, I think the best person for The Price is Right is Tom Bergeron. He's funny, he's capable, and he's not going to make a laughingstock out of the best gameshow on TV.
Rosie? Pleh. Don't make me laugh. Drew? Double pleh. He'd never be able to handle not making jokes at the contestants' expense.
carol sloan (12:12 AM 7/17/2007): Drew nor that dirty mouth Rosie will do for the
Price is Right, they need someone that has hosted
The Family Fued a person that is clean cut.
lilly (1:26 AM 7/17/2007): yuck. negative and vulgar persona. not a "gent".
MimiD (3:14 AM 7/17/2007): John O'Hurley who was on Dancing with the Stars, and who currently hosts the Family Feud would be the best choice.
leigh875 (7:31 AM 7/17/2007): I'm with Steph on this one. I hadn't thought of Tom Bergeron before. He'd be a good choice.
Lori (9:32 AM 7/17/2007): I absolutely agree with MimiD.
John O'Hurley is entertaining without being over-bearing. Plus, he has a personality that is endearing. I think he would not try to be the center of attention; instead, concentrating on the participants in the show.
(Has HE even been considered?)
