Magazine is under scrutiny from her bosses because the rag has yet to sell well stateside. Apparently, this story has nothing astonishing or new in it so the hype is an attempt to sell magazines. And to impress her bosses before she gets canned. Pretty shady publication if you ask me.

Prfofessor F (12:12 PM 7/25/2007): Seriously people, lets not miss some of the fundamental issues that are easily overlooked in the hype of all this craziness. 1. Britney has some serious issues and has been dealing with them for a long time. Where the hell is her support network, family and friends? She will only continue to spiral until she hits rock bottom or die. The industry(studios, agencies, managers, PR, parents,etc) should assume some responsibility when they allow children to grow up in that environment. 2. Who cares what these people print in these gossip magazines or the hype they try to create to increase sells. It is up to us, the public, to make sound judgement about where we need to draw the limit. I could care less about these peoples personal issues in life. I'm spending enough time in my day battling my own issues. So, the last thing I want at the end of the day or when I have a free moment is to read, view or listen about someone else's personal meltdowns. Here's a suggestion, if we stop listening, reading and feeding on the hype. Maybe the bottom feeders will stop chasing these people for our pleasures.
