kitkat (8:46 PM 7/30/2007): sorry for the typos in my post everyone i was a switchboard operator for 23yrs and at times i just type too fast ..I am an old woman now so as a child i grew up reading how great the Hiltons were back then they well respected so i was really suprised that her Grandfather let her get away with trashing the HILTON GOOD NAME for as long as he did .His father Conrad disherited them all too , Barron hilton worked at those hotels so he earned his part of the HILTON money respect this man he has worked for it all his life.

Kelsey (10:22 PM 7/30/2007): Someone said "I feel she didnt deserve to be jailed so long." But what if she hit someone? What if that person died? What if it were you or someone you loved. Should she have had such a short sentence then? I think people who DUI should have their licenses revoked for life. Because most repeat the offense, and put people in communities at risk. Of course, if it were you and not Ms. Hilton, rest be assured the sentence would have been longer.

oneill (10:46 PM 7/30/2007): Paris Hilton did not come out of a jar. She is the result of the family she was raised in. If grandpa has a problem with her "antics", perhaps he should look a little closer to home for the source of her conduct. Paris wouldn't be the first person to have ben "victimized" by parental (and grand parental) attitudes an expectations. I happen to feel sorry for the girl. She's merely the logical result of money, arrogance and privilege taking their logical course.
A mother (10:53 PM 7/30/2007): I just found out tonight after returning from Michigan from Ga seeing my only son get married that a good man and his wife are about to lose their 11 year old daughter to brain cancer, maybe everyone needs to get their priorties in order. Why is it important whether or not this person gets anything, she will meet her judgement on her own merit when the time comes and it will not be at our hands, put your own lives in order and let God sort hers out with only her and her family it is none of your affair.

What is inexcusable is that she chooses to drive and endnager innocent people because she drives while under the influence. With all the money Paris, Nicole, Lindsay and Britney have, you would think someone within their inner circles would arrange for drivers. Or they would arrange for drivers themselves. Or take a cab. They can certainly afford it. They all need to grow a brain.
With most of them being repeat offenders, they deserve to the stiffest sentence the law allows.
I guarantee if any of them hit and killed one of your family members, your opinion would change.

When Paris Hilton drives under the influence of alchol or drugs she's putting other people life in danger. She can drinks herself dead, who cares, that is her life she is destroying. But don't hurt or kill some other innocent person, and that is exactly what is going to happen; i hope it will not be my kid, mother or grandmother. She can party, but stay out of the driver's seat.
