In the new issue of Penthouse, Tracy Morgan admits that a lot of the Saturday Night Live cast members were fed up with Jimmy Fallon's penchant for laughing during all the sketches.
It's good to know because we were too.

Fallon cracked up a lot during his SNL skits which would upset Morgan and others.

Anonymous (2:42 PM 4/26/2008): yeah... its endearing when its once in a while. but cracking up regularly was part of his routine because he had not much else to add. i thought people could tell that it wasn't genuine. but i guess it does work because obviously a bunch of you fall for it.
jowey58 (4:45 PM 2/3/2009): Jimmy Fallon is a non-funny idiot who almost ruined "more cowbell" he is not the right choice to replace Conan. im sure in the acting world he is not respected and comes off as an ametuer.
karynsouthwell (12:01 AM 7/17/2009): If no one liked him then how did get he get Amy,Tina and Maya on his show then? I just watched the best of Jimmy Fallon and sure he laughed during the skits but so what?He still did a great job.
karynsouthwell (12:07 AM 7/17/2009): Mary-I agree with you 100%!I like it when people laugh at there own stuff during skits.Yes its better then the cue cards? If no one liked him that much then how did he manage to get his old freinds on the show?
karyn southwell (12:12 AM 7/17/2009): Jackal51.Yes Tina was one of the writers of the show and your right-he wouldn't have done Weekend Update with her.Since Im sure she would have a say who stays and who dosen't.I mean he got on his show:her Amy,Horito,Seth, and Rachel and Maya.I think others also. Not everybody like everybody they work with of course.
karynsouthwell (12:16 AM 7/17/2009): Anyone who has ever seen him do stand up you are so lucky. That's one guy I would love to see live.I love his late night show.If anyone has I have some quetions:how much were the tickets and how long did he do his act?
Alexandra (5:31 AM 10/10/2009): Jimmy and Tracy kissed and made up. He's been on Late Night twice since Jimmy started. Lots of hugging and "I love you man."
And I seriously doubt the rest of the cast hated Jimmy either. The chemistry he and Tina had together was like nothing in SNL history and it really made Update something special. They've never had a bad word to say about each other. Obvious friendship there.
Judging from the great appearances of Tina, Amy (x2), Horatio, Seth (x2), Maya (and probably others that I missed) on Jimmy's show, none of them had a problem with him either. It was a comment that got blown out of proportion.
And it was hilarious when Jimmy laughed in sketches.
angel (5:51 PM 9/17/2007): I actually like when the actors crack up. It's natural. What I can't stand is when they are obviously reading from the cue cards.
DD (7:11 PM 9/17/2007): I agree with angel...I think its really funny when they crack up. When they laugh, I know they are having a great time and that, in turn, makes me laugh too.
Mary (7:55 PM 9/17/2007): I thought it was cute when Jimmy cracked up....it's not like none of them weren't guilty of it at some point. Jimmy was enjoying himself...what's wrong with that?
readyforlove77 (1:39 AM 9/19/2007): I can see where Tracy's coming from as far as professionalism is concerned, but I agree that it is natural for them to crack up. I can't stand Horatio Sans? for that very reason.
anna (7:52 PM 9/17/2007): are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats when I watched the show that was funny and they need more of that because the writing sucks.
Diane Dobbs (8:25 PM 9/17/2007): I loved Jimmy Fallon on SNL I've watched it since it 1st started [as a kid] It was always at it's funniest when the actors [like Belushi] would be so f@#*ing funny that no one could keep a straight face!!! It was a compliment to his ability and added depth to the moment!! It Always guaranteed we would laugh even more...
spenditalltoday (9:10 PM 9/17/2007): i think they're just jealous of fallon, he's better than they are anyway.
Ray (9:26 PM 9/17/2007): Jimmy is one funny man, actually he is the funniest man that was ever on that dreadful show. I for one cannot wait to see it go off the air, its way past its time
Ray (10:38 PM 9/17/2007): Jimmy is the most funniest man I have ever seen on the show and I for one cannot wait to see it finally go off the air. Jimmy--I love you.
Christina (10:26 PM 9/17/2007): I'm totally agreeing with the SNL cast members and The Cooler. Yeah, sometimes its funny when the cast members crack up, but not ALL the time. Jimmy Fallon couldn't keep a straight face in any of the sketches. It got really old. Sometimes it was like he was trying to laugh to get a rise out of the audience. I'm glad he's gone.
Lila (11:19 PM 9/17/2007): I think it's hysterical when they actors crack up. It's funny to watch them try to hold in their laugh... I like Jimmy Fallon better than that Tracy Morgan guy anyway....
David (12:53 AM 9/18/2007): In the acting world, it's called "stealing focus"...a big no-no.
