In the new issue of Penthouse, Tracy Morgan admits that a lot of the Saturday Night Live cast members were fed up with Jimmy Fallon's penchant for laughing during all the sketches.
It's good to know because we were too.

Fallon cracked up a lot during his SNL skits which would upset Morgan and others.

Kay (1:51 AM 9/18/2007): The cast was probably ticked because Jimmy was the ONLY one who was laughing at their lame skits. The show totally sucks.
Randy (2:17 AM 9/18/2007): I was annoyed by that too. Seem like he was trying to be like Tim Conway from The Carol Burnett Show. Fallon is totally over rated.
rynaldo (7:58 AM 9/18/2007): i think its hilarious when they lose it and start laughing, i just began watching the carol burnett show on video and tim conway would cause the other memebers in their skits to break up all the time you can see all of them trying to hold back their laughter and watching them trying to contain their composher is sometimes funnier than the entire skit, so laugh people laugh at ourselves sometimes its the better humor
K (8:23 AM 9/18/2007): I agree, the show was terrible. I enjoyed when Jimmy and Heratio would do skits together. I laughed when they laughed. Look where that comment is coming from
Tracy "I need a drink in order to be funny" Morgan.
Nora (8:31 AM 9/18/2007): As a child, I always remembered enjoying the Carol Bernett show because many of the characters could not help laughing at their own skits. It was natural of them and fun to watch!
bandomom (9:36 AM 9/18/2007): Whoopdie freakin' doo! Seeing the actors crack up makes it that much better! Get a grip Tracy.
Blu (10:08 AM 9/18/2007): Laughter only begets more laughter. They should be glad people were laughing.
Amy Liz (10:10 AM 9/18/2007): I absolutely LOVED when Jimmy cracked up... and he always was able to pull it together. Maybe these cast members should remind themselves that they, too, laughed and that yes they, too, were able to pull out of it and continue on... this makes them INCREDIBLY GOOD at their job! Sketch comedy is difficult. Everyone on that show works their butts off and everyone deserves credit.
And for the record... one of my fave skits was when it was Jimmy and Ben Affleck doing the scene at a Boston House Party... they BOTH lost it and it was GREAT TELVISION!
Leave Jimmy Be.
Roy (10:55 AM 9/21/2007): Jimmy made SNL worth watching.......Now I don't give that show second thought as I channel surf. It sounds like the cast just takes themselves too seriously. After all, isn't a comedy show supposed to make you laugh?
melissa black (10:41 AM 9/18/2007): Jimmy Fallon is one of my all time favorites on SNL, and who the hell cares.......i think its better when they are laughing too.....it is more natural.
knowall (10:41 AM 9/18/2007): Tracy Morgan should have begged Fallon to laugh at anything Morgan -whos not funny- said. Morgan will disappear soon into complete obscurity. Burning bridges if your not talented isnt a good idea...
JFfan (3:31 PM 9/18/2007): Tracy needs to get a life, he is obviously jealous over Jimmy being the "cute one". I miss Jimmy and Horatio being together on the show and barely remember to laugh anymore at the half-funny skits. I love the cast right now, but I sure hope the new season is better.
AnaMaria (2:25 PM 9/18/2007): I watch SNL for the purpose of laughing. Jimmy Fallon (or anyone else for that matter) cracking up in the middle of a skit makes me laugh, and therefore I enjoy it. Also, going public with that sort of petty comment is a bit juvenile, no?
ilive4harleys (11:54 AM 9/18/2007): The best part of live shows are when the actor's laugh and lose it. The harder they try to keep from laughing, the funnier it is. It makes them more human and real to us watching them and their is just something real about it as opposed to them reading their lines off of a cue card. The best I have seen is when Billy Crystal, doing his imitation of Fernando Lamas on SNL interviewing Hulk Hogan and Mr. T and while he wasn't actually doing the laughing, he caused Hulk Hogan and Mr. T to completely lose it. It was so funny to the point that 22 years after the skit appeared, I still remember it and still laugh at it.
I think those who resent Jimmy Fallon laughing at a funny skit while in character are the ones with the problems.
TheJackal53 (11:54 AM 9/18/2007): So the cast didn't like Fallon at all? Or the cast didn't like it when Fallon ruined a sketch because he couldn't control his laughter? Sounds like bad reporting here, because If I remember correctly, Tina Fey was head writer at the time. And wasn't she the one who had some great chemistry with the guy? If they didn't like a guy, they would cut him and not promote him to say...the WEEKEND UPDATE CHAIR!!!
I'm not buying it at all. Maybe the other actors should have been LESS FUNNY and then he wouldn't have laughed at them. Or wasn't that what they got paid to do?
J.T. (12:11 PM 9/18/2007): The characters in the skit aren't supposed to think what's happening is funny. That's what helps make things funny. The fact that this insane stuff is going on or being said and yet everyone is keeping a straight face and acting like its all normal.
Bad form, Jimmy.
ri (12:41 PM 9/18/2007): I thought it made for great TV. Loved when Jimmy laughed during his skits. Horatio and Rachel would ALWAYS laugh too. You can see all of them losing it in a skit where Lindsey Lohan was the host, and the skit was Debbie Downer while they were at Disney World, anyone who googles that skit is sure to get a major LOL!
david (12:23 PM 9/18/2007): tracy morgan was never funny, hes just jealous,i like seeing the cast crack up,it makes it better
Karen (12:23 PM 9/18/2007): I like it when something is so funny that a character in the skit starts to lose it a little - especially when they just barely keep it under control.
But I often thought that Jimmy lost it way too easily.
Horatio Sanz was unbearable for me to watch 99% of the time. I never actually found him funny.
Walter H. (12:26 PM 9/18/2007): It was hysterical when Jimmy or a guest host (yes, Lindsay Lohan in the Debbie Downer skits?) would crack up. Made me laugh more. It all goes back to THE classic Carol Burnett and what has to be the absolute funniest breakdown in TV history! I'm talking about the dentist skit with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman, where Tim keeps injecting himself with novacaine in various limbs. I remember Korman laughing so much that he literally fell out of the chair! Keep breaking up, and I'll keep watching!
