In the new issue of Penthouse, Tracy Morgan admits that a lot of the Saturday Night Live cast members were fed up with Jimmy Fallon's penchant for laughing during all the sketches.
It's good to know because we were too.

Fallon cracked up a lot during his SNL skits which would upset Morgan and others.

me (12:57 PM 9/18/2007): This from the man with that RIDICULOUS skit about some guy in a zoo...
Barb (1:51 PM 9/18/2007): I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Jimmy's inability to keep a straight face during what he found hilarious. He MADE it funny most of the time. I miss seeing him on SNL, but hopefully he's more appreciated in the work he's doing now.
Shaunna (1:58 PM 9/18/2007): I agree with everyone. Jimmy Fallon was the funniest cast member on SNL. It was cool to see how he couldn't keep a straight face even during the lamest sketches. It made it worth watching. Its been mostly downhill since he left the show.
Suzy (2:09 PM 9/18/2007): Since the beginning days of SNL, one of the funniest skits has been "More Cow Bell" with Fallon busting up in the background. The skit was great, but Fallon and Ferrell made it even better!
Christina Bruce (2:49 PM 9/18/2007): Love Jimmy, loved when he was on SNL, & cracked me up when when he would laugh and make the other guys laugh. I used to love it when Chris Farley would make everyone laugh too! I though the show was about comedy, hence the laughter...
LujackLvr (3:13 PM 9/18/2007): I found Jimmy Fallon a benign presence during his SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE tenure. The first few times he couldn't keep a straight was cute and if I were him, I'm not sure I'd fare any better. When it kept occurring, it just seemed tedious...but at the same time, I think Tracy Morgan is funnier on 30 ROCK. I think he has every right to his opinion, but to lump the entire cast together may or may not be correct, considering ["In the latest issue of PENTHOUSE"] the source.
Dw. Dunphy (6:07 PM 9/18/2007): I always thought Fallon sucked on SNL. However, the majority of modern viewers loved him, so it is clear that you can get really far with incessant giggling and "oopsie" looks.

gdt (3:35 PM 9/21/2007): I miss Jimmy doing the news...And miss Tina Fey as well
GregIn NY (3:37 PM 9/21/2007): Jimmy Fallon performed at Rufus Wainwright's Christmas show at Carnegie Hall last year. He was delightful, funny & charming. He spent LOTS of time talking to his fans after the show...albeit all of them female. :)
ninam (5:10 PM 9/21/2007): well, Sienfeld made a career of it!!! he couldnt keep a straight face during the entire series.nm
knowswhat'sfunny (2:40 AM 9/28/2007): Anyone who likes Jimmy Fallon doesn't understand comedy.
Roy Hollandsworth (7:15 PM 9/23/2007): Jimmy Fallon was fun to watch and his cracking up during various skits never looked out of place. It actually induced more humor to the SNL comedy routines. Tracy Morgan sounds very unprofessional to me.
Roy Hollandsworth (11:22 PM 9/23/2007): SNL is a very physically demanding show involving long hours and unbelievable creatism on the part of the cast members. However, I was very surprised to learn that certain cast members were upset with Jimmy Fallon cracking up at times during portions of his skits. I never thought for a minute that it reduced or took anything away from these skits. If anything it was fun to watch and it truly induced more humor and spontineity into these SNL segments.
All I can say is that certain cast members such as Tracy Morgan are definetly wound too tight. I wish Jimmy Fallon the best.
EVA (6:30 AM 10/8/2007): Anyone who likes Jimmy Fallon COMPLETELY understands comedy. I am young, but I remember seeing episodes of The Dean Martin Show, Bob Hope, Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson, Sammy Davis, jr., etc with guests like Don Rickles and such (all FABULOUS comedians/entertainers)and one of the best things about them was the fact that they all LOST it on their shows; it's part of their charm and adds to its spontineity (as Mr. Hollandsworth points out). Why do you think one of the top 5 characeristics (gorgeous AND intelligent) women look for in a man is SENSE OF HUMOR?? Jimmy Fallon is fabulous, and his face and gorgeous smile on the show is definitely missed!
