Hello, I’m Rebecca Field with today's UPI entertainment update on this Thursday, February 28, 2008. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking into whether Britney Spears was drugged. Officials say there's no official investigation yet but allegations are under review. The Robbery-Homicide division is apparently looking into the matter to see if any laws were violated. Earlier this month, the singer's mom Lynne requested...and been granted a temporary restraining order on Spears' friend Sam Lutfi...alleging he has drugged her and controls her life. Jenna Bush and fiancé Henry Hager celebrated the last days of their single lives earlier this month. Sources tell People magazine the first daughter went to Boca Raton Florida for the weekend with a group of gal pals. It was apparently a low key spa weekend. Shortly after Hager flew down to Miami for his bachelor party...one source says there were about 20 guys...hanging out by the pool and fishing. The pair are reportedly marrying at the President's Texas ranch May 10. Jessica Simpson is heading to Kuwait to entertain the troops. The singer told fans on her website she'll be going overseas soon but didn't indicate when. She also said she's working hard on her new country album and can't wait to share it with all her fans. Jack Johnson's album is holding onto its spot at the top of the charts. Sleep Through the Static is number one again on the Billboard 200 list for the third week in a row. In second is Alicia Keys' As I am followed by Amy Winehouse at number three with Back to Black. Will Ferrell is gearing up for the release of his new comedy Semi-pro. The actor attended the Canadian premiere of the film in Toronto yesterday...alon gside a group of cheerleaders. The film is about a basketball coach in the 70's trying to get his team to make it to the NBA. The comedy hits U.S. theaters tomorrow. &# 32;That's all for now.
