Admirers of the astronomer pilfered the relics nearly a century after his death. They were handed down from generation to generation in a noble family and finally turned up at an auction.

Man Freed After Killing Wife in Sleep

A British man who said he strangled his wife in his sleep is found innocent in her death. Prosecutors withdrew the case after experts said Brian Thomas suffers from a long-term sleep disorder and had no control over his actions when he killed his wife, Christine. Thomas said he had been having a nightmare about being attacked by an intruder.
