The toast of the auction circuit this week is a bottle of beer recovered from the famous Hindenburg crash in New Jersey more than 70 years ago. The modest drink, which still bears a Lowenbrau label, is expected to become the most expensive beer ever sold, the auction house says.

A judge awards damages to a filmmaker who returned to his home on an Irish island after a six-year absence and found it had been demolished and turned into a parking lot. Neville Presho doesn't plan to rebuild. "You could build a really nice chicken coop with that sort of money," he says, "but you'd have no money left over to buy the chickens."

Father Ends Fight to Keep 'Baby RB' Alive

Britain's High Court says a 1-year-old boy born with a severe neuromuscular disease can be removed from life support. The child's father was fighting to keep him alive but changed his mind after a weeklong court hearing. The child's mother had earlier agreed with hospital officials that her son's suffering should be ended.
